Awesome news!

My sister got moved to a regular room. This is awesome news. She is only on the regular cannula oxygen now. Sh is no longer on the 100% non re breather. Thank you for the prayers. Hopefully she will be home soon.

My sister is still in the ICU. She is getting better but it is slow going. I can't wait until she is better and at home.

Update on my sister

She is now in the ICU with pneumonia. Please continue praying for her. Her pulse ox in the 80's.

My sister had a hysterectomy yesterday

Her surgery went well. I feel bad because she is in a lot of pain. I am praying for a speedy recovery for her. They had to do a vertical incision because of her previous C -section scarring. So for anyone reading this I would like you to please add my sister Lizzie to your prayers.

The crazy question of the day

How can something be "new" and "improved"? If it's new, what was being improved?

Let the sick be done

Christopher is sick now. This has gone through almost everyone now but it's dragging out so bad because someone new gets it every couple of days. No double sickies (which I think would have been better). The kids are doing PSSA testing in school this week and I hope Christopher doesn't get too far behind. Good times, good times.

Puppy Love

My sisters dog had puppies today and I got to see the birth. It was amazing. There are 3 males and 2 females.

Bye Bye frizzy long hair.

Apparently I went crazy and decided that my hair needed CHANGE. Well let me tell you , CHANGE it got. I don't think I've ever had my hair this short. I think I like the cut but I'm not too sure about the color. I got it done last night and my kids didn't see it before they went to bed.
They were pretty surprised when they got up lol. Emily told me that she can't wait until my hair gets long again. I am going to post pics as soon as I get a chance.

How to make a newspaper kite.

Emily decided to make a kite out of newspaper.
Apparently all you need is:
Elmers glue
Scissors
a tape measure
some newspaper
and a comb
2 coffee stirrers
and any thread of your color choice.
Emily found all of the things you need all by herself!

Gearing up for a three day weekend.

The kids are off of school tomorrow. I really wish it would get warmer out so we could do something outside. No doubt the kids are excited for the extra day though. Christopher is already asking to go and hang out with the mall rats tomorrow night. I can't believe that he is getting old enough to hang out anywhere with his friends, minus mom.

Oh no, I'm getting a nasty cold.

Stuffy nose, sore throat, cough, the works. I just hope this passes soon and doesn't move into my chest. Ok, done complaining, for now.

A nice boring day.

I hope. Em is at school and Ethan seems pretty chill today. I have a few loads of laundry to do but not much else. I think I will take a nice nap with Ethan before Christopher has to be at the orthodontist.

Birthday season is slowing down a bit. Now maybe we will just have one birthday party per weekend instead of our usual 2 lol. Have no fear though .We will begin the birthday madness again in May and June. Many more cake and party pics to come.
